A deposit secures your appointment and confirms your booking with the professional. Deposits are collected through BurgundyBlend and applied toward your total service cost. The remaining balance is typically paid directly to the business at your appointment. Exact payment details are shown before you confirm.

BurgundyBlend helps you collect deposits upfront so your calendar stays protected and no-shows are reduced. You choose your deposit level during setup (20% or 50% of the service), and we collect it at booking time. Deposits flow through our secure payment setup; complete your payout setup in the app to receive funds. You set your service prices and keep your full price.

Payout setup is handled securely by Stripe, our payments partner. Most businesses are verified within a few minutes of completing setup. Occasionally Stripe asks for an additional document, such as a photo ID, which can take a business day or two. Once you are verified, your payout status shows as ready in the app and you can start receiving deposits.

Your deposit is credited to you as soon as a customer books. It is not held until the appointment. The funds then reach your bank account on Stripe's payout schedule (Stripe is our secure payments partner). Because Stripe reviews new accounts, your first payout typically arrives about a week after your first booking. After that, payouts usually reach your bank within a couple of business days. You can view your balance and payout timing anytime in your Stripe dashboard. Exact timing is set by Stripe and can vary.

Your deposit is fully refunded if the business cancels, or if you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you cancel less than 24 hours before, or you do not show up, the deposit is kept to protect the professional's time. Refunds are automatic and go back to your original payment method. The remaining balance is always paid directly to the business, so only the deposit is ever refundable through BurgundyBlend.

Yes. The deposit is credited to you the moment a client books. If they cancel at least 24 hours ahead (or you cancel), it is automatically refunded to them. But if they cancel less than 24 hours before, or do not show up, the deposit simply stays with you — that is your no-show protection for the time you set aside. You never have to chase or manually claim it; the policy is applied automatically.

No. Payouts are handled by our secure payments partner, Stripe, and you set everything up right inside the BurgundyBlend app in a few taps. You never create or manage a separate account on another website. Once your quick payout setup is verified (usually within minutes), deposits are sent to your bank automatically.

You choose. BurgundyBlend collects the deposit to secure the booking; you collect the remaining balance directly from your client at the appointment, however you prefer: cash, e-transfer, or your own card reader. You keep your full service price, and you handle taxes on the balance your own way.

Two things need to be complete. First, our team reviews and approves your profile. Second, your Stripe payout setup must be verified so you can receive deposits. Once you are both approved and payout-ready, your profile goes live and nearby customers can discover and book you, usually within minutes of Stripe verifying. Stripe verification is typically a few minutes, and occasionally up to one or two business days if Stripe asks for an extra document such as a photo ID. Tip: after you are approved, fully close and reopen the app so it picks up your latest payout status.

Customers always pay a deposit to secure their booking, and it is credited toward their service. In your business profile settings you can choose a 20% or 50% deposit. A deposit is always taken, so your calendar stays protected from no-shows.

Download the app and create a business profile. Add your services, photos, and availability, then complete payout setup so you can receive deposits and payments. Once your profile is live, customers in your area can discover and book you through Explore and search.

BurgundyBlend is available across Canada and the United States. Customers can search by location to find professionals nearby, and businesses can list regardless of city. We continue to expand coverage as more pros join the platform.
